After months of planning, brainstorming, exploring ideas and working out what works best for what "The Reserve" has to offer, finally I can see a faint distant light at the end of the tunnel. I recently rummaged through my personal belongings in search of my well kept stash of KNIVES! To my dismay, I managed to recover only a few of my prized possessions. I never knew how schweeeet my blood is till recently. Whenever I go into the jungle, despite the many precautions I take, I still get at least one leech or 'pacat' (in malay) bite on my feet. And the weird thing is, no one else seems to get bitten except me. I have grown immune to it now. In case you're wondering if it hurts, it doesn't. Just remember not to pull it off if you find one sucking

There came a time when I get really dumbfounded as to what should be done next. I realised that when you're in such a state, the only thing left to do is to keep going and "JUST DO IT". A recent find very close to the main house...at first I thought it was a tiger's footprint.. that gave me goosebumps but then after looking at it closely... it's was that of a decent size Tapir's footprint instead.. This is the view of the what's left of our humble kampung house.. restoration work is not going to be easy.Clearing work began a month before Ramadhan started. The main path/road leading into the main "Tobek Godang" has been partially cleared.. more clearing work needs to be done to restore it to what it once was.. I've got my work cut out for me.
